Magical Gatherings^™, the celebration of the magic that happens when friends and family reconnect with a Walt Disney World® vacation, begins throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort this year with the opening of a new resort and the launch of several new attractions.

Well, Magical Gatherings^™ is the celebration happening at Walt Disney World® this year, referring to families and friends vacationing together.  Basically, every party that you book on a Walt Disney World® vacation is considered a magical gathering. However, when the traveling party size includes eight or more guests, ages 3 and up, staying at a select Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, this larger party is referred to as a "Grand Gathering".  This gives them the opportunity to take advantage of unique product experiences and services designed especially for these larger parties.

We're offering special dining and entertainment experiences available exclusively to Grand Gatherings parties, in addition to personalized itinerary planning assistance, and other special reservation services that will enhance your client's vacation.

The first Experience I'd like to tell you about is the International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception where your clients will enjoy a sumptuous dinner showcasing international delights and tantalizing cuisine from around the world at an Epcot® VIP dining location. After dinner they'll enjoy live entertainment to delight children of all ages.But the fun isn't over yet as Grand Gatherings guests go on to enjoy the sights and sounds of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth on World Showcase Lagoon while enjoying dessert from a VIP location reserved just for Grand Gatherings parties.  The price is $19.99 per guest ages 3 to 9 and $59.99 per guest ages 10 and up, including gratuities and service charge, with no charge for kids under age 3.

The next Grand Gatherings Experience is the Safari Celebration Dinner at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.  As the day comes to a close, the Experience begins at Kilimanjaro Safari with an adventurous safari across the rolling savannah.  The excitement continues with special parade viewing and an African-inspired dinner experience at Tusker House Restaurant with live entertainment and Disney characters "native" to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, and even up close animal encounters, promising a wild time is had by all.  The price is $19.99 per guest ages 3 to 9 and $59.99 per guest ages 10 and up, including gratuities and service charge, with no charge for kids under age 3.

The next Grand Gatherings Experience is the Good Morning Gathering where your clients will begin their day with special songs and fun for kids of all ages at the Magic Kingdom® Park.  The party will be joined by classic Disney characters that take center stage for singing and dancing at this fun-filled breakfast celebration at Tony's Town Square Restaurant.  After breakfast with their Disney friends, your clients will enjoy one-on-one time with Mickey himself!  The price is $11.99 per guest ages 3 to 9 and $24.99 per guest ages 10 and up, including gratuities and service charge, with no charge for kids under age 3.

A fourth Grand Gatherings Experience is the Magical Fireworks Voyage.  This seasonally available Experience includes desserts followed by an evening voyage around the Magic Kingdom® Seven Seas Lagoon, hosted by a storytelling pirate and his crew where, from a perfect viewing location, your clients will be enchanted by the new Wishes^™ fireworks spectacular and the delightful Electrical Water Pageant.  The price is $14.99 per guest ages 3 to 9 and $29.99 per guest ages 10 and up, including gratuities and service charge, with no charge for kids under age 3.

So, as you can see, there are many great Grand Gatherings Experiences for everyone to enjoy.

The same Experience must be purchased by at least 8 guests in the same Grand Gathering party staying at a select Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel.
